With the new digital age Digital Albums are becoming the thing. But how is everybody selling the price, and what price are you getting?

They are so expensive just to print, and work involved in set up, so how much show one charge for this and still be able to sell them to customer.

I sell 90% of my brides flush mount albums by including them in all my upper packages. They love them and are more inclined to spend the money during the planning of the wedding than after the fact. Most times the parents are helping them pay for the up front wedding expenses. Typical mark up is 100-129% added to my landed cost. . . average about $1500.00

Assume you are not saying you get $1,500 just for an album?

What do you find the cost of printing the average 12x12 or 10x10 album is running you and how many pages.

in toronto they start anywhere from 950 and up i've heard....including artwork time and such...not sure though...

there are a few ways/types out there of doing it. We have one italian importer, cant remember the name but sends the files to italy and gets the album back....

quite expensive though. but the final look is real nice.

Personal: Canon 5d, 580flash, 24-105f4L , 50mm f1.8, coming soon sigma 10-20mm and deciding on which 70-200mm f2.8.

There has to less expensive options. I don't want the album to be all photos, just some. Do not want that to replace the individual 8x10's etc.

Thought there were some opton in the $100, $200 range??

Am I crazy.

I use a program called Picaboo. I can do albums, books, proof books, stc. All at a reasonalbe price. You can do some pages as collages and add text like the wedding vows or guests comment. Check it out. VERY REASONABLE. hhttp://www.picaboo.com/ (external link)ttp://www.picaboo.com/ (external link)
