Excellent shots Rick - you've seen more Springtails in one day than I have in my entire life, in fact, you've seen 3x as many as me, since I've only spotted one Springtail, and that was by pure luck.

Thanks Brian. The nights are still cool, almost to freezing. but the days are slowly warming up. our biggest problem this year is the rain. they've gotten more in the last couple of months here than they've seen in many a year. Flooding everywhere.
Thanks very much Alistair.
Thanks Dave, as always. Hopefully you will find many more this year.

Thanks very much Pete. The one with the scales is huge in Springtail standards, it is roughly 5 times the size of the "normal" ones.

Thanks Johnkermit1. They are out there, I promise. Here is a tip(for you too Dave),. I have found most of these by being near moist areas. Try flipping over some flat rocks that are partially moist. wet rocks typically wont work. Try this idea if you havent already and let me know if it helps.
