Way too slow for me here in New Zealand, usually photographers sites are dead quick - i'm on 10Mbit broadband. It's slow to load initially, and it's slow to load each image. I suspect you haven't made the images small enough - they should be 100kb or under. Check out the thumbnail sizes too. I'd check it out for you but flash sites make it too hard to bother.

Scarter275,
Way to slow for me also ;)
I personally don't recommend flash either because you can't be sure if future customers/viewers have flash installed as its not a standard in browsers. Flash obviously in your case doesn't help in speed either.
Just my opinion of course... :)

I'd actually say it loaded fine (in NYC), but if everyone else thinks it's too slow...

Took about 2 seconds for the Flash loading animation to appear (spinning circle) and another 5 seconds for the gallery to appear. Then the images loaded pretty quickly (in the background), with the first image showing up 1-2 seconds later.

a bit too slow here in UK (at work) 3 or 4 seconds for spinning logo to start, and then 5 seconds for page to open.

Just tried on another computer and I got a timing of about 5, 1, then 2 seconds for first pic to load. It seems like loading the SWF is the slowest part...

for me, (Chicago) it seemed fine. the spinning circle was immediate and the gallery loaded in about 4sec. The photos seemed sluggish, but nothing loaded for more the 1 sec, they just were not smooth transitions.

See what you can do.

Nice and fast for me...
Maybe 1-2 seconds to load the page, and the photos loaded completely in about 1 second after the page loaded.

It loads reasonably quickly for me, but it's still somewhat annoying to sit through two different loading indicators without anything to look at.

Loading time was in the 6-8 second range on two computers I tested. Not fast, but not as bad as some. Could be better IMO.

Way too slow...no way I am going to wait that long for a site to load. I have 10meg cable broadband...ran a test to be sure the issue wasn't on my end.
