I'm wondering if i want to use this for viewing images in my galleries?
Does it load too slow for you?

It's slow to load initially, and it's slow to load each image. I suspect you haven't made the images small enough - they should be 100kb or under. Check out the thumbnail sizes too. I'd check it out for you but flash sites make it too hard to bother. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

The photos seemed sluggish, but nothing loaded for more the 1 sec, they just were not smooth transitions. "I'll be happy to take your picture, you just can't look at the camera."
