beginner here with a new xti....suggestions on what kind of CF card to use?? besides the size, is there any other differences in cards??

I just get Sandisk CF's, either Ultra II's or Extreme III and IV. I have never had a problem with them.

I really only use Sandisk cards. The Extreme III versions are awesome and I recommend the 4gb or 8gb size.

You can't wrong with the Sandisk Extreme IIIs and the IVs, along with the Lexar Professionsals. Just stay away from eBay when buying them. I once thought I got a great deal on an 8gb Extreme III, but it turned out to be a knockoff like I'd feared.
