Hey guys just wanted to see how these picks look. there where not planned just spontaneous. we came back from a Rc plane show and he came up next to us in my dads car so he went up and i shot. i know the first one our car in it but could not get out of the win down far enough to get my shot.

I was on my knees on my seat so it was not the easiest pics to take. Yes i know he dose not have a helmet before anyone asks, there is no law for that here and he just did not wear one when he went with us.

crop or edit as you guys wish.

i'll keep my personal opinion about not wearing a helmet or a jacket and pants out of this one. But as far as the picture itself, lower your shutter speed so you can get a sense of motion, it looks like he's just standing still.

Not my skin. I always have my gear on.

:lol::lol:

As far as the pics go, the lighting is bad way to shadowed, as stated already no real sence of motion. Guess it could be used as a snapshot if you just wanted to show it off to someone but aside from that they don't work for me.

#2 is a good grab shot! I wish it wasn't about 2 stops underexposed?
You had "normal" sunlight there, so you should know what the exposure will be without even using a meter? Sometimes I'll be able to grab a license plate when I'm driving because I've set the camera on manual exposure for the existing light as I get into the car.

First set the f-stop & shutter speed you need. Then adjust the ISO. Need an exposure crutch?
This shows how the subject can affect the exposure & why manual keeps me worry free: Post #47
