Err 02 'There is a problem with external media. Replace external media.

although I can review images on the LCD I cannot delete and neither DPP or Zommbrowzer will open them. There appears to be one image (the earliest) that I cannot review on the LCD - 'cannot play back image'.
SanDisk RescuePro finds 360 TIF files but when reading lost files freezes on 99.TIF
Fortunately there are only a dozen images to recover and they are of no vital consequence but has anyone else had this problem.

I have formatted the card and it now seems to work but a worry will remain.

Format the card in the computer first, and than again in camera..

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Might have just been a bad sector on the card; reformatting maps them out. Keep tabs on that one card though; if you see it happen again, consider contacting SanDisk about replacing it. Any cards that give me an error, I mark 'em the first time and avoid using them in critical situations; happens a second time and they're history.
