I like this and also your body of work at pbase. I wish I had the courage to photograph people the way you do.

Nice work Marie! The low light here helps to set the mood.
I love this sort of existing light photography, as it brings out the creativity. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Pink Floyd fan Marie? ;) Good capture, I don't think they noticed you, but if they did they didn't mind. At least the one facing you didn't :)

Pink Floyd fan Marie?

Going by the location sign, I'd guess Hendrix? Maybe it's a collaboration?
Good shot, Marie.

She's confused me (of course that's not necessarily too hard) with her title....nice shot though.

I don't always feel up to it , many thanks Mike
I just take the camera out quick when passing a place of interest and suddenly the right people may pass (or not)
I never intend/plan anything
same as in life. always better that way
lol

it was lovely , thanks Bruce
for some reason ' the dark side of the moon' was going through my mind
its a sleezy kind of street where I sometimes take a short cut and I think part of the wall paintings look as though the man is going to attack with a knife even though he is grinning
(hence the thinking... luna........ and all that) also there are kindof evil paintings around the walls too , and the purple added to all
whereas .........the lovely girls were lit up by a beam of light . they were walking fast..

thanks Pio. the words just came to mind when I saw the scene as further along there is a devil on the wall (with horns)
(see reply to Bruce)
its a fairly narrow street and I never sneak shots (or have the camera in a plastic bag taking shots from it ) lol ....most people are too busy and happy enough in themselves to worry about things like it and lots smile if they see me .I try and be a quick as possible and go on my way as I'm never out just to take photos like it but on the way somewhere and usually have the camera with me
(not always)
lol

Good shot, Marie.

it was the way the light was shining on the girls and those wall paintings
that combination made me think of those words, thanks Frank
the words just came to my mind
later thought maybe it was Van Morrison who sang about it
or maybe the words were from my own head
seemly not
but either way , the scene over all ( plus what can't be seen in the picture) all still makes me think like it
lol

so long as I didn't confuse myself lol
one has to look deep into a situation and imagine 'what in heck is she talking about'

lol
