Need advice on buuying a Canon P&S.

I'm in the market for a Canon Point and Shoot. This camera is mainly for my wife who never really takes pictures because my equipement confuses her. Plus I would like one when lugging the big stuff around isn't practical.

My budget is about 200.00. Don't want to go too much above that. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

How is the Canon Powershot A720?

I think you should first look them over at a store then shop on-line. Canon is a great line but looking a specs and opinions can get confusing

The A720 is a good little camera! I picked one up a couple of weeks ago and really enjoy using it. Takes pretty darn good photos.

I think quite a few of my Flickr pics from the last 2 weeks were taken with the A720IS.
