AMA Motocross National at High Point, PA

I just upgraded from the original digital Rebel to a 40d. Fresh out of the box and i got to try it out at the motocross race this weekend in PA.

This is getting to be the normal view for 250 riders

Nice Shots. Could I ask where the locations is for the racing ?

Lovin #1, even though Ryan is out of focus, the mud makes it look 3d, nice job.

Great photos! I haven't been to High Point since Carmichael was dominating the 125 class.


The 1st photo of Bubba looks great. I like how it focused on the roost and left him slightly blurry.

The first photo is actually Ryan Villapoto on the Pro Circuit Kawasaki in the lites (250) class. Pretty much the same view the other riders have of Bubba on his Kawasaki in the Motocross (450) class.

Ah, I see now. Couldn't make out the name on his shirt. I though Bubba was still riding in the 250 class.

Its the 250 2stroke/450 4stroke class now days and the 125 2stroke / 250 4stroke class or lites class now

#2 is my favorite. Great POV, shutter speed just slow enough to show a little motion blur in the tires and everything else is nice and sharp. Excellent capture!!
