Will a Kata H-10 take a 40D with 24-105 attached?

The title says it all. I'd be grateful to hear from anyone who knows definitely! Thanks.

I believe the H-10 is smaller than the H-14. The H-14 will hold the 40D and a lens, but not a 40D with a grip and a lens very easily without bag mods. If you plan on a grip in the future, you may want to look at the H-16. That will fit the 40D w/ a grip and a telephoto lens.

The H-10 might hold just a 40D and lens in the middle, but I expect it would be a bit tight maybe?

The H-series Katas are cool though!

Here is the Kata site that gives all the dimensions, and for some of these, they tell what will fit. You have to click the icon next to the More Information label. The page comes up and says the 40D will fit, I would love to know for sure!

Thanks for your help TeamSpeed. I was looking for the smallest one possible. I already have a Lowe Slingshot 200AW for my stuff, but I wanted a smaller 'walk-around' bag just for the camera and, possibly, flash. It seems that the H-14 would be a little bit too big and not a great benefit over the Slingshot. Thanks for the link though - I now have some measuring to do.

You would have to go with the H-14. I had the H-12 and it wouldn't fit the 40D with a 28-135 lens properly. I did manage to get it in the bag, but the fit was VERY tight. Try the LowePro line of bags (Topload Zoom series, maybe something like the 75AW).

Thanks Shahid, I shall have a look at the LowePro. Is the 28-135 bigger than the 24-105?

I believe they are similar in size, the 24-105 might be bigger though, I'm not too sure.
