You used an 18-55 for wildlife? Man, talk about a lot of magnification. I shot this shot these with as 12mm lens.

You're right. I should buy something wider. 18mm could be too long for lions!

awesome shot BTW ;-)a

Paint a red stripe around that 18-55!

That's an idea!

*off to find a red pen*

Your not going to keep the 18-55 MM just because you shot a picture of a squirrel? With the 100-400 you could have stood much further away and got the same shot. Plus dont forget the cropping. To each his own I guess.

Yes, yes I am. i don't see why I would keep a 1500$ les when a 150$ lens does the same job

Why would I need a 100-400 when I have my old 18-55 kit lens

Exactly what I was thinking! ;)

I once saw a message board poster who's signature read:

"Squirrels are just rats with better PR."

One of the funniest, and most truthful, statements I have ever seen.

The squirrels in Central Park will eat from your hand. Not that I would let them.

How would you rate the pigeon's PRs? (pigeon are commonly refered as flying rats)

I would let them.... and close my hand. It's not everyday you can get free meat for a BBQ!
