Formula One Boats - St. Petersburg, Russia

Went doing rescue (I usually can be found on the yellow boat in the background) so took my 20D/70-200/1.4 Extender and did some shots:-

Cool shots.

Any shots where you incorporated more of the background/skyline into the shots? I think it would really add some good variety into already good shots.

Thanks, I'll see about digging some better backgrounds out. Moved on to some lie down boats called O:350's will post some of them this week!

I saw Mallas photos from Barrow last week, Malc Hughes airborne is a corker!!

These shots are awesome. Maybe a slow shutter to make them look faster. Don't you love taking pictures from the rescue boat. We get the best seats in the house!

I do not see any APBA stickers. What country were these shot? And do you mind if i P.M. you? I have a non-photography question for you. It is about rescue.

Hi,

These are from the bank, not our boat! Don't take my gear on a drop front, boat gets far too wet!!!

Nope! Not one APBA or American! It's St. Petersburg, Russia (as in the title) and it's the UIM Formula One World Series - it's a World Series that visits other countries not just one!!!! ;-)a
