this is my first attempt on taking a picture of a drink. I would like to know what you think and what should I do to make it better or how should I re take this shot.

Looks pretty good to me. I like how the background slightly distracts the eye keeping you interested. Good composure, color, and focus.

Was it shot in a pool hall? I see what looks like a pool table in the reflection of the glass.

Perhaps a bottle of Heineken instead of a highball?;)

I love it all its colours .....A real bar style shot neon lights beer adds its a winner....
Nicely composed bright the eye keeps coming back to the drink after perusing the scene...

It looks nice, but I have to say that I'm not a fan of the condensation around the top of the glass.

Thanks, I think I'm gonna redo it tomorrow with a glass of beer, it might fit the background better.

Amazing-- looks like it should be in a commercial. The condensation above the liquid level IS a bit ddistracting, Ill admit though.

I know these are just a couple of nits, but I think the Playboy Bunny on the glass takes away from the shot. I think a simple beer glass would have worked better. Also...and this is probably a bit subjective, but I think I would have allowed a little more room on the bottom and the right side of the frame (i.e. moved back just a little bit).

Nice shot over all though...makes me thirsty :D.

Peace,
Jim
