No, I didn't adjust the color of his eyes at all but I did adjust the levels to make the whites a bit brighter.

LOL, I really wasn't hoping for that outcome but I can see how they have that color contact look.

I am attaching the original here. I processed the edited version in Raw. I am really not very good with post processing at all to be honest, just learning. Any advice or suggestions are really appreciated.

I can't quite put my finger on it but maybe it looks a tad soft around the edges of his face? The 2nd photo in my eyes looks more natural. Skin tones look warmer (earlier one skin tones looked slightly blue). Eye colors also looks more natural. Did you clean up that pimple in the original photo. Looks a little distracting in the latter photo.

big_apple_ken: Thank you so much for your feedback. I used your advice and re-edited to remove the blue hue and then removed the blemish in photoshop. Does it look better or does it look too yellow now?

Many thanks!

It's a nice shot, but the PP is a bit much for my taste. The green is very overpowering in the eyes and even in his hair and goatee. Some of the subsequent edits are quite nice. The last one is definitely right on the mark.

I agree, it's a bit too much for my taste too LOL. :p It doesn't take much for me to wreck a perfectly good photo. Thanks so much for you feedback. I agree, I like the last one is much better also .

Thanks Ed, I really like your edit. What were your steps to get that result?

:oops:As embarrassing as the originally posted edit is with the hulk eyes and blue beard, I am learning a lot from this thread and appreciate all the help and feedback.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS3.

1.- Duplicate layer.
2.- Adjust auto color
3.- Image adjust -> match color (click on neutralize, Luminance slider +128, Color intensity +128 )
4.- Select all teeth with the lasso tool
5.- Desaturate selected teeth -40 (master) +10 lightness
6.- select color on teeth ( -40 on yellow on the white tab).
7.- clone out all blemishes to taste by picking out texture near the area to be clone.
8.- Create adj later (overlay, with a 50% gray fill)
9.- burn the eyes (8% midtones) using a soft brush. Just
10.- burn the edges of the image to taste.
11.0 Sharpen w/ USM 200/.3/0
