Sorry for the bad quality in 2 of the pics., but I used a resize action in photoshop and that's what resulted. All C&C is welcome and appreciated!

Thanks!

Except for the blown sleeve, #2 looks good to me.

Thanks for the comment! Is there anyway to fix a blown out sleeve in post?

Well, it wasn't blown out in your original photo - I think that's what PhotosGuy means. You've gone a bit too far in your processing.

I go with 2 as well. I think sepia is way overdone. I like the dull tones but with a little color creeping back in.

First step........ Take the lens cap off.

Layer masks are a great way to apply changes only to parts of an image: Try a Layer Mask for easy local changes. Post #9:

I actually like the original the most. It makes the boy look small (like he is).

Something doesn't sit right with me about the crop for image 2 and 3. I agree that I like the pre-crop for the "little man" aspect. What if he was creeping into the image. Something about him looking up wants me to crop like he is ducking into the image. I used some Kubota Actions to edit and then cropped a couple of different ideas. Please let me know what you think.

1.

2. Sorta has that about to climb out of the image feel....
