Took these about a month ago and wasn't really happy with the results. Fast forward to yesterday and I finally got lightroom and decided to do some heavy PP then I usually do after seeing a thread from the 2005 WRC race in Mexico. I used a "300" preset as a starting off point and played around from there, if they are rubish please let me know.

The shots look fine to me,but the colours are way out.
The reds are off.
Try more saturation and colour boost if you have it,and play withe white balance.

The 300 style may not suit these too well but the pictures themselves are nice. I like the low angles. Did you have corner access? I recently also tried my hand at MC shooting and it was a great learning experience.

Thanks for the comments and I know the colors are off.. I meant them to be, although I fear they are a bit too green. As for corner access, this is a local track that I go to quite a bit so any corner is open.

Hallett is a fun track to shoot. They gave me free reign to walk around and shoot. Nice pics, dont know about the PP though

yeah Hallett is a fun track, surprisingly challenging for a track in the middle of the Oklahoma plains. As for the PP I'm not really sold either but it is fun to play around every now and then.

Great composition in these. I really like #6. But the desaturated look doesn't work for me. The bike are brightly colored and IMO should pop off the page.

Originals way better. Maybe some creative crop and angle adjustments would be all that is needed. In fact like I said before the angles are very nice as is.
