First Trip with My G2

I recently made my first trip to the Canadian Rockies. I've never owned a good camera before so decided to splurge on one for this trip. I purchase my G2 about month before leaving. With good advice from this forum, I purchased a polarizing filter , UV filter and extra camera memory. As well as the lens-mate adapter and a tripod.
The one additional feature I wish I had was a battery charger I could use in the car. I photographed in jpg format ( I still need to understand the RAW process a little better).
One problem I had was that with the polarizing filter on, along with the UV filter I had the corners of my pictures blackened. If zoomed the lens a little and could correct it. But every time I turned the camera on I had to remember to adjust the zoom a little. Unfortunately most times I didn’t remember.
After getting home I realized that if I just have one of the lens on it just about corrects the problem.
(I’m still learn).
Here is a gallery of my favorite photos from the week.

I love this camera !
I also have many I don’t like and when I have time I want to address those in the Critique Corner.
I thank everyone for the previous help I received.

Your pictures are excellent. Very well composed. Aren't the Rockies wonderful?
