Must be an electronically shuttered binned readout or something else. Interesting, I haven't seen that before but I want to know more about how they're actually doing it.

must not be shutter controlled. theyre probably just turning the sensor on and off while exposing the sensor -- just like in a point and shoot. and at 1.6MB, who cares?

At 1.6MB, it must be really cool for printing post stamps..

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Only 21 fps? How about 60 fps with the Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1? (external link)It also does slow-mo video with 1200 fps. (external link)

1.6MP times 21fps=33MPs
10.1 times 6.5 (lets say 6 so those "mine doesn't get 6.5" 40d users don't complain) = 60.6MPs
10.1 times 10fps = 101MPs
22.1 times 5fps=110.1MPs

k20d<40d<1dmkiii<1dsmkiii

hell, even the 20d has 41MPs

edit: hell, even a HD camera is better, cheap ones do 1280x720 @60fps, better ones do 1920x1080@60fps, one made for nhk can so a few hundred frames a second at full HD resolution

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

It's good marketing though, sorta like the D3 high speed in crop mode only

yea the sad part is that there is going to be a salesperson out there somewhere that will tell some poor sap that the camera can do 21fps at full res.

It's... hardly possible to achieve 21 fps with a moving mirror.

I think there's a lost dot somewhere betwen 1 and 2.

EDIT: I'm wrong. Pentax rules.

Too bad they didn't get to 24 fps. I'll get digital once a DSLR cams will have 24FPS+ then and make movies.

haven't you ever heard of the RED? it's pretty much a mkiii with 60fps and a 20k price tag. shoots near 4k

If I can't afford it, it might as well not exist. It costs 30K minimum.
