Just wondering how much people have invested in their cameras, lenses and accessories? I have about $3,800 so far in about 1 year.

I just spent $743 on a new Tokina 11-16, a couple of filters, and random stuff.

So since April, around $2,500.

Invested? That term is used very loosely here.
8-10 grand over last 4 years is what I have spent.

Rated in my salary terms it equals 3.5 months of work in the past 3 years. So a weeks worth of work a year.....not bad. Not good my wife says, but I could've done more damage than that!

I have spent about $7,000 USD over the past year or so. Hopefully won't be spending any more.

I'm a firm believer in not counting how much all equipment has costed me. That stems from my film days too. It's better not to know the amount. :)
