Please critique and comment these two pics.
The first one is not a photograph - it's a digital painting that I did out of nothing. Just painting on the canvas.
The second one is one of my favourite photos.
I'd appreciate your comments

In both pictures you make it clear that you are interested primarily in the abstract.

I'm a little unhappy that you rendered the second image too large to fit on my screen all at once. In my opinion that is not the most user friendly way to post.

Am curious about what software you used to do your painting and did you use something other than the mouse?

Very nice! The second image would probably get more positive comments do to the fact it is indeed a photograph. I like the soft nature of the image. Both images display fine on my monitor..maybe because I use a couple of 22" CRT displays.

Ha! Finally an abstract that grabs me!

#1 has me totally captured. #2 not so much.

#1 really does look like a painting. Print it 60x40, put it in a nice frame, get it sponsored in a gallary and sell it for big bucks

Your name grabbed my attention...funny enough my website is www.mymidnight.com (external link)

I've had my digital art printed on canvas and they look exactly like an oil painting
