mikeb540 Goldmember 1,469 posts Likes: 77 Joined Feb 2008 Location: Kentucky More info | iv been flying rc for almost 8 years now, and just got into giant scale aerobatics, and ill say this, this hobby can and does get just as expensive as the camera gear,, the jets are the most expensive in rc, tho not the hardest to learn,, helis are by far the hardest to learn on.. but when the turbine alone sets you back 1200 greenbacks,, or more.. then add in the price of the airframe and electronics, it gets hard to fathom, its not unheard of for rc trubine aircraft to be a flying 8k+ machine... ill stick to big gas powered airshow flying, its more fun then flying laps anyway.
