Impressive F-100, I had a college prof who flew those.

IMO, that's pretty ironic!

I used to build nitro planes, and would easily load $1000 into one setup. Jets, hell yeah they are crazy expensive.

On the other hand, I've seen some of the lens collections, and holy geez, it gets scary!

iv been flying rc for almost 8 years now, and just got into giant scale aerobatics, and ill say this, this hobby can and does get just as expensive as the camera gear,, the jets are the most expensive in rc, tho not the hardest to learn,, helis are by far the hardest to learn on.. but when the turbine alone sets you back 1200 greenbacks,, or more.. then add in the price of the airframe and electronics, it gets hard to fathom, its not unheard of for rc trubine aircraft to be a flying 8k+ machine... ill stick to big gas powered airshow flying, its more fun then flying laps anyway.
