I have used 4 or 5 WEIN saftey syncs, they do not work, spend your money elsewhere. I have the original EOS digital Rebel and slave strobes that put out 14 volts when they fire, and the stupid thing takes 10 seconds before I can fire off the slave strobes again, and then it only works intermittently. I did recive 1 sync from wein that didn't work at all, the other 3 worked sometimes, and I did do 1 excellent photo shoot where it worked fine, but i still had to wait 10 to 14 seconds between shots, not good when there is a model standing around waiting. I reccomend a wireless transmitter that goes in the hot shoe, with the reciver that has the PC sync cord socket on it. that will garuntee that your camera can not get fried by a surge from the flash. I belive there is one called the pocket wizard, but I have no experiance with it, bottom line, WEIN is the only company that makes a surge supressing snyc adapter for a digital camera and I haz pretty much zero luck with it, The company WEIN was very good to me and sent me 3 replacements at no charge, but none of them were any better.
