This is a bridal shoot, not a wedding shoot. Both the shots was taken with a Elinchrom Deep Throat softbox, the first is both diffusers fitted the second is bare. The first shot also had a 400BX behind the model with a standard deflector attached.

I find the first picture mesmerizing and surreal, and the lack of contrast is appealing. It works very well for me with the subject's skin tone.
