I recently got the XSi and picked up a 2gb sandisk card with it. I quickly realized how fast it will get filled up and want to get another card. Is PNY a good brand or should I stick with Sandisk?
Best buy has the PNY 4gb card for $25.
Yeah or nah?
Thanks!

I have both a PNY and Sandisk CF cards and so far no problems with either of them.
If there's a Samy's near you:
Right now they're selling, if I'm reading the ad right, 3 2gb Sandisk Ultra II SD Plus for $29.95
Double check on their website.

I know folks that use both w/o problems. Personally I use only Sandisk CF cards. I started out with them and just stuck with them to be consistant. Never a problem with any of them.

Personally I'd stick with Sandisk.

I just saw this same deal on Costco's website. Thank for the heads up.

I've had more PNY products fail on me than any other manufacturer of anything. One flash drive separated from the plastic case it came in, eventually exposing it to the elements that caused it to fail. Another just plain didn't work more than 5% of the time, PNY wouldn't replace it, Best Buy wouldn't take it back. And lastly, my mom a PNY SD card in her SD200 that just died after a while of normal use.

^Ditto. I've had 4 cards format randomly and had several family members and customers have them fail. Absolute rubbish. Definitely a company where getting a good one is lucky as opposed to Sandisk where it's hard to get a bad one.
