Mudpuppy

These shots are not intended to be either artistic or portraits. They simply show the fact of what living with a very large dog is like. This is Canon, a 6 month old Great Dane puppy, who found a mud puddle in the back yard after a torrential down pour. He dug a 2 Dane foot wide, foot and a half deep hole in the mud puddle, which proceeded to fill with water and mud. He had a fantastic time playing in it and it took almost an hour to clean him up. He was mud from the tip of his toes to the top of his head.

He looks like a beautiful dog. I'm looking forward to seeing some photos when his ears are healed. I went through this with a Doberman many moons ago and still remember how hard it was for my dog.

Your shots are nice and sharp. I have a 70-200 L and it is one of my most used lenses. Congrats on the photos. Looking forward to seeing more of your puppy.
