Canon 20D vs. Canon 5D

Don't sell the 20D short. I usually go to parties (for another job) on weekends, sometimes up to 5 per weekend. In the past 3 months, I swear I've seen more 20Ds being used by professionals that 5Ds. Don't even see 30Ds or 40Ds. Either 20Ds or 5Ds.

If you're looking for your first camera, or a backup camera, you can't go wrong with spending $400 for a used one.

I have a serious love affair going on with my 5D (bought in November 07). That camera is just phenominal. I sold my 30D when I bought my 5D.

I have recently purchased a used 20D for $375 and also love it for my backup camera. There is nothing wrong with that camera! I enjoy owning both. I use my gripped 5D for my clients and photo shoots - and I use my 20D for my kids and outtings (it's smaller and more lightweight to tow around with my 3 kids.)

Yes, I prefer my 5D. But my 20D produces some good images, as well.
