Hi guys. I just got a 40D. Im new to photography and to this forum. Just wanted to share the first couple of pics I took with my new 40. Thanks.

I gotta say, I like the 2nd one better! lol. The lighting looks really good on it - was it just the standard on-camera flash?

As a critique I wish you would have driven that bike up in the mountains somewhere to shoot it or something, the garage setting is a bit dreary!

Enjoy the new 40D, it's a great machine to add to your other machines! (Would look awesome strapped across your back while screaming down the freeway on the Yamaha! You'd have a kinda digital ninja thing going on! lol)

check out that swing arm and the wrap around fender up front!

I believe i shot it without the flash. LOL. Thanks about the sick bike. I have two kids a 3 year old and 1 year old. They like to play on that little thing. I hit up the canyons quite often, especially Azusa. I'll get some pics next time I head up that way.
