I am new to the area, just got the gig, and am shooting a wedding.

Right now I am 30 minutes north of San Diego and I need to know a good place to shoot some group shots. It is important that they look natural and green. Are there any good places with flowers or trees this time of year. It will be close to evening when these photos are going to be taken.

Thanks for any help guys.

Don't know what they look like this time of year, or if you can work them into a picture somehow. According the the website, the season is over, but Canon did a workshop there in April, maybe you can find and photoshop

There's the Four Season's hotel right there too, maybe you can get permission to shoot on the grounds.

Its either this or LegoLand.

shooting club VB and club soccer, hoping to get back to landscape work soon.

You might try Quail Botanical Gardens, but there are fees required for formal or commercial photography. My club did a shoot there on the 14th and, although I didn't go, from what I can see looking at others shots, there were still lots of flowers and greenery.

Thanks to everyones advice. Unfortunately I was unable to access the internet in the last couple of days and was unable to see any of your suggestions. I ended up taking the pictures down in Coronado near the Hotel Dell. Classic place, and above average photo location for my normal stuff. I am very happy with the photos from there and I highly recommend it for your next outing.
