I some how mixed up my 4GB sandisks this weekend. Formatted my full one and took pics. Is there ANY hope to recover the pics that where on there before the format? :(

If you never used the card after formatting it you should be able to unformat it. There are many recovery tools to recover the information, Sandisk has one I think so a quick call to sandisk customer service should help you solve this problem.
Good luck!!

Quite unlikely.
You may be able to recover a few. Do you have the extreme sandisks? They come with recovery software.
However, if you took quite a number of pictures on the formatted disk, then they are most likely gone. You can still try though.

I have to learn to read I see you used the card to take pictures after formatting, then as trailblazer said it is difficult but nothing is lost calling sandisk.

This is free, and works very well: http://www.artplus.hr/adapps/eng/dpr.htm (external link)

It should recover the majority of the card even after formatting, but anything that you wrote over it (with the new pictures you took after formatting) are, unfortunately, gone.

This is why I number my CF cards with a Magic Marker.

I always start with #1 and go through in sequence.

The other way of doing this is to store unused cards in your left pocket and put them in your right pocket when you're done with them.

Ok...I have success and I think I got almost all om them back :O :O

I am doing back flips here. I can't believe I got em back.

Here is what I did.

I first deleted all the new pics with me camera.

I tried Rescue Pro. It just would find the new pics I just deleted. I tried Sandisk and same results.

Then I used a program called DiskInternals Partition Recovery. I took a long time but I believe it found and recovered them all :D

Time to edit some images. Some of my best yet I thought were lost :D
