Just wondering if anyone can help me while I'm waiting on a response from Digital Foci tech support...
I just purchased a new PhotoSafe II 80GB (http://www.digitalfoci.com/photo_safe.html
) from Amazon last week... When I plug in my SanDisk UltraII 1GB CF card, it copies the files from the card to the PhotoSafe hard drive just fine... When I plug in a Transcend 4GB CF card, the device begins the copy process and errors out at about 5%...
When the error occurs, no files are copied from the card, but a folder is created on the PhotoSafe hard drive... I cannot figure out how to read or determine what the error is...
The 4GB card is brand new other than the couple of test shots I took to try the PhotoSafe device... I've tried formatting the card via my camera (Rebel XT) and produced the same results above... The card is fine with the camera...
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with this device? I do not see any restrictions on the CF card size... If there are, that would be completely crappy... Also, the product documentation is about worthless too...
