Nothing special. These are just ordinary pics from the last couple of days. Some are heavy on the PP. May I get some C&C please?

2, 4 & 6 have that sort of "Saturday Evening Post" mood to them. Very human and nice.

A nice set of photos there, you have a good eye for the moment when it comes to shooting people.

The car show could have been wider (to help place it in the street), and you have sensor boogers. When you take shots of blue skies like that, it's important to clean your boogers out - they tend to stand out quite a bit.

Aside from some blown highlights in 4, 6 and 7 (and maybe 8 ), I think they look great overall.

Nothing special you say. Well I think the mustang in the first picture would have to diss-agree with you :). Great Pics

Your PPing on the Mustang isn't working for me. I take it you blurred everything but the mustang (and it's shadow) but the actual selection you made is very jagged and distracting.

if you look closely under the Mustang's front end you will see the street under it is in focus. Is it an overlay or as suggested did you blur a bit?

Beyond that I LOVE them all. Bummer about your reflection in the eyeball but still a wonderful image!

Thanks, everyone for your wonderful comments. I think I have improved substantially since the last time I asked for critiquing.

Hah! You got me. I was being really lazy.:p In the original, the BG was in focus too much for me. My photoshop skills are definitely rusty. I used to know how to do masking and everything, but for this, all I used was the quick selection tool. An easy fix when I work on it longer.

I kinda liked the reflection. Is it a bad thing?

Anyway, I am having a blast with my newly acquired 40D.

No, not really, you are right it's an interesting effect. Almost like seeing through her eyes...

I like it but was not sure if you knew it was there...but it did get me thinking on the best way to prevent it and all I can come up with is shooting behind a neutral curtain with just the lens poking through. Sort of like product photography.

I've done tons of product stuff for our business and know nuttin' about portrait photography yet...I do know that I like your pics, a lot! :)

Who is superfudge?! You posted with a subject line that was similar to "Are you there god, it's me margaret" - an all-time classic book by Judy Blume. Another series of Judy Blume books was called Superfudge. Is everyone here too young to know this? Oh dear! Forgive my reference.

Still, nice images.

though usually not a big fan of heavy vignetting, i have a penchant for a saturated sky/grass combo, so #3 does it for me. as mentioned, watch your jagged photoshopping. i know i always look for that kind of stuff haha. but of course we all know it's easy to fix if you kept the original file if you ever want to print or something.
