I just recently got into photography, only by playing around with my moms Rebel XT camera a few weeks ago and having fun with some friends doing little photoshoots. It was very enjoyable and I would like to get more into that and also learn how to photoshop more professionally (not just playing with hue and saturation which is about all I know how to do right now).

Can someone point me in the right direction? Should look into photography and photoshop classes at a local college? Or would going to my local library and picking up books be just as good? Any advice would be great. Thank you.

This does not belong in the business forum, but rather one of the photo sharing sections. And personally I like most of the images as they are but thing the first one lacks contrast and is overexposed by about 2/3. Pump up the blacks some too.
