Not a white kit to be seen... just some random, recent gubbins...

Leaping high to field behind the stumps...

Clean bowled, as viewed from the back... not a big fan of this angle but quite liked the 'shape' of the stumps and the flying bails...

Celebration from behind... it's moments like this that you wish all the bowlers bowled from the same end! Faces, faces, faces... aaaaargh...

For good measure, let's have a third 'from behind'... a successful stumping on this occasion and the appeal to the square leg umpire...

If you're going to give away your wicket, you might as well do it in spectacular fashion with your eyes closed...

Hot dammit man, they are great shots. Love how virtually all the shots capture some form of emotion. As usual, great captures...

Beautiful shots, as usual, Gavin, but I will NEVER understand that sport. I read a writeup on some big cricket match on SI.com the other day, and it was so confusing my head literally exploded!

Perfect as usual Gavin. Are any of you angles set up as remotes or are you with them all the time? I'm not planning on stealing them I'm just wondering if remotes are even worth considering for Twenty20 games.

Wow, great as always. One question (being from America and having watched cricket maybe once): what is an appeal?

When a bowler bowls the ball, he is aiming to knock the bails from the stumps whether or is a fast bowler or spin bowler this is their aim.

However when a batsman attempts to play the ball (hit it/block it etc.) but misses the ball and it (the ball) then strikes the pads the players from the fielding side 'appeal' to the umpire for LBW. Leg Before Wicket.

It is up to the umpire to decide whether or not the ball would have struck the stumps. If he decides the stumps would have been struck, the umpire will raise his index finger and the batsman will take the long walk to the club house! if the umpire shakes his head the bowler starts over again and the batsman lines up again.

Do you know how to see the EXIF? If not, and you have a PC, look up Opanda as an add-on to Firefox or IE.
