I need some help please.

I have a a S5Is canon, and I purchase a sunpack digiflash for my camera, now when I put it on and take a picture it doesn't flash is there anything in my camera menu that need to change first?(it is a brand new one)

What shooting modes are you using? Have you tried, for instance, Tv or P?

Charge Coupled Device - your sensor, among other things is a CCD; it's a type of solid state device.
