I went with a friend, driving the red radical, to his qualifying run in Fontana this weekend. It was the middle of the day and I shot with my 40D and 70-200 f/4L. I was actually able to get right next to the Krail on the track! cool stuff. This is my first time covering a race, so tell me what u think. My angles and views were limited to what you can see, but I think I've done pretty well, except I did not think to leave space in front of the cars while framing and panning so that was quite difficult and I think u can see that in the pics...

any tips for next time?

C&C would be helpful
