If ANY card had the failure rate of Canon DSLR cameras right off the assembly line, they would be called trash and no one would buy them.

Surely you have facts to back up this ridiculous claim. Please share with us the exact statistics on Canon's failure rate right off the assembly line. I can only assume by your assertions that you are a high level executive at Canon and we would love some insight into the whole process. :rolleyes:

yeah easy choice to pay a few dollar more for the industry standard. there are places i'll shave a buck or two but not on CF cards :D.

I had a pair of Kingston 2gb's from the same lot fail.

A full day tournament lost--unrecoverable.

Coincidence--maybe?

Replaced under warranty?--no questions asked!

Fool me once----

Now use Sandisk.

Better??--Who knows?
