Could you guys elaborate on the color? Tell me what to look for and how to fix it? I'm not too sharp on color hues and tints and I played with the yellow and the green sliders in RAW.
ThanX

The foliage is too intense, appearing artificial.

In my view cropping some of the foliage at the bottom would also aid the composition. Say almost up to the split in the branches.

MJ.I think all the floiage at the bottom is taking the eye away from the main subjects.the gnarly trunks.

This may be too much of a crop.but its stark.

I did try B&W, but I like the green on the one tree.

It's a shot that is difficult to expose properly, based on where your sun is, it appears you tried to compensate the dark levels and enhance the washed out colour, it gives the foilage an overbearing feel, while the branches look a little unnatural.

I do like the composition though.

Depending on yoru focal length, if you have 550 or 580 EX, you could use the fill flash option, which may have helped balance the light.

No! I added only the clouds. The colors were the result of the sliders in RAW.
BTW, this wasn't shot in RAW. Always been a JPG.

ThanX for commenting. Got any ideas for fix'in it?

I wish I can help Midnite, but we all take shots like this that we really would like to keep. The compo was great as I said but it's pretty overexposed, and I don't think it can be repaired and look very natural at the same time.
