I'm looking for a less expensive alternative to the Canon OC-E3 off camera shoe cord. Preferably something that has a bit longer cord too, or else comes with an extension cord.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Tim

I don't have the link handy, but there was an alternative posted in the past week or so.

I have it linked at home, so if no one shows it by than, I will post the link...

Thanks Mario - I found the link:

about 1/2 the cost of the Canon and it seems to have good reviews.

The dealextreme one looks to be.

If you move your mouse over the pic, a larger one appears.

That's just my opinion of course...

I just bought one from this guy. We'll see when it arrives in a few days.

Looks to be. It has the rubber shroud that closes over the hot shoe when the locking button is slide across.

Works fine & dandy! Perfect with a 580EX on a Stroboframe T bracket.

Seriously lighter set up than my Metz Hammerhead!

Ordering from them may take a while! I placed an order, made the payment, and 7 days later I received a note that they were shipping it that day! And this note indicates a week or so for it to get here. I placed my order last week!
