Got my 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM and this flower was the first I took. I wanted to see this bokeh everyone raves about with this lens....WOW

Theres a nice bright pink/purple outline on all the outside petals. Think it's called chromatic aberrations. Was this taken at f/2.8?

Yes the color seems to have gone seriously wrong here. I always find that flowers with this color are very difficult to properly capture without that colored fringing.

Yep, I see it. Taken at f/2.8. Didn't do much thinking about light composition, etc. Just put it at 2.8 and click. Wanted to see the bokeh this lens is so "famous" for. Probably over-sharpened too
