Hey everyone, this is my first post since i very recently joined the dslr community. This is my second time out shooting with my camera (XTi) with just a 18-55mm kit lens and vertical grip and i am still getting the hang of things still etc. I came from using a canon A540. I like panning shots so thought i would give them a try while my friend fooled around on his dirt bike. C&C is more than welcome! thanks.

First, Welcome to POTN!

Nice job on these. The first one is a great shot. It look sharp, great color and great sense of motion. The other two are a little soft but the motion and color are there. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing.

If IS stands for image stabilization then i am unsure. It is the lens that comes with the 400d. All it says on the lens is EFS 18-55mm...

Thanks. I haven't even been able to use it that much still have to figure a BUNCH of stuff out and read more of the manual. For now though this lens seems like it will be fine for a while until i feel the need to upgrade.
