Hey Shadowman, I grew up in Palmer, just down the road from you. Don't get up there too much anymore, maybe twice a year to see relatives.

Ha, it's a small world. There's some good shooting to be done around here.. Quabbin, Sunderland, the Berkshires... etc. Sucks for photography this time of year because when I go to work it's dark and by the time I get out it's just about dark!

A lot of my better pictures were taken in New Hampshire and Upstate New York with a Point and Shoot the last couple of winters..

Very nice although I'm not sure if I'm digging the angle..

Can't complain though, crisp enough to tell you he's hitting a D Major Note!

uh, not to nitpick, but that would be a D note.....CHORDS (triads to be specific) can be major or minor, but a single note would neither be major or minor....
D major triad (D) = D F# A
D minor triad (Dm) = D F A

(enough music theory, back to photography.....)

SD vs. CF (which my 40D uses) was a non-issue for me. ~$30 @ Amazon got me 3 4GB Class 6 SDHC cards :) That's about 900 RAW shots ;)

Same here, just switched from a 300D to the 450D, cards are dirt cheap these days...

Woohoo, my first post.... :D
