I've never posted here before, but I jut got my XSI this week. I've got so much to learn. Anyway, here's a shot of a bee I took using a 50mm F/1.8 lens.

I take it almost everywhere we go. ![]() Since I had the 50 1.4 for low light and wanted a little more reach than 70mm the 24-105 was the obvious choice for me, and I have not been disappointed. The lens is a joy to use and even though a prime is sharper (of course) it's sharp enough and very, very versatile. I still wows me.
