Nice shot and you could have cropped it to make the photo better. Looks overexposed though.

What's the best way to post images? I resized it this time. What should I use in the future?
Thanks!
Oh, BTW, I'm a SAHM of 2 so I'll probably share a lot of kid related shots :) I have a GSD too so I'll throw in a few shots of him every now and then.

OK, I get the Stay-at-home-mom part, but the only GSD I know is German Sheperd Dog. Unless that's what you call your husband... :D

It probably is.......I took it without knowing what I was doing. Still don't, for that matter, but I'm determined to learn.

Put my D60 up on ebay and just got my XSI. Lots to learn! Here's the first photo, my pup Lucy. All auto settings and a little soft, but I plan on improving!:D

Things i like:
High ISO noise reduction
Live view
3" LCD
14bit A/D
12MP - cropping power!

Things I don't like:
high pitched shutter sound
it overexposes :( (400D underexposed, much better and correctable)
Iso button is awkward, would've been easier if it sloped away like the shutter button, that way it's more natural to slide your finger back.

Ok, after looking at the rest of the photos I won't be able to continue my excuse that it's my camera any more ;) XSI with a 50 1.4. Just a beginner focusing on kid lifestyle portraits, but here are a few:

Since I had the 50 1.4 for low light and wanted a little more reach than 70mm the 24-105 was the obvious choice for me, and I have not been disappointed. The lens is a joy to use and even though a prime is sharper (of course) it's sharp enough and very, very versatile. I still wows me.
