I got my XSI fairly recently and have really loved it. I find it intuitive for the most part and just all around fun to shoot with. I'm at work now but will post some photo's later.

Current Equipment (just starting):

Just joined the forums today, and Just got my Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi on the 26th. It was my first Digital SLR (though not my first SLR, that is a Canon EOS Rebel X). I love it already. Has been used to take pics of the families puppy dogs, the roses in front of the house, and even a wedding. Have the lens that came with it (Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS) and the two lenses that I have for my 35mm SLR (Canon EF 35-80mm 1:4-5.6 III and a Sigma 100-300 1:4.5-6.7 DL). have only had one problem with the camera so far and thats with the Sigma lens, it will work occasionally, the rest of the time I get the 01 Error (Communication between problem between camera and lens), which I am currently researching, and so far it looks like I may need to have Sigma update lens.

This photo was taken of one of my coworkers while she was goofing around. It was a test photo that I decided to take after work. I took it from approximately 25-30 feet away using the Sigma 100-3001:4.5-6.7 DL lens (one of the times I actually got it to work).

Picking up mine tomorrow ! Whoo Hoo (just a bit excited :))

Going for the twin lens 18-55 IS & 55-two50 IS
( and a new keyboard as my number two key is not working LOL)

Good to see so many of you are getting such excellent shots with
the kit lens - I have researched them way too much & my head nearly
exploded several times :) trying to decide between them and other brands.

Are you downloading directly from the camera using an USB cable and Windows Explorer? Then both the RAW and JPG files will show up as two JPG files. Not sure why! Using a memory card reader will solve this.

Hyun.
I have more photography enthusiasm than skills. Keeps me happy this way!

I'm relatively new here (about a week) and about a week old now with my XSI, my first DSLR. I absolutely love the camera! After messing with my friends XTi with kit lens and then seeing what the XSI does with the IS lens, it's like night and day! Heres a few pictures I've snapped

These were taken within the first 15 minutes of me playing around with the camera. I've got more pictures now, just haven't had time to upload them:

Great camera, especially for a noob like myself, but its a great tool to learn on and will enjoy learning everything it has to teach me!
