Hi all 450D lovers (great zoo pics before) i have to say this i love the 450D so much im soo pleased with it but, i locked on my mates 70 200L yesterday and had a thought if ever you wanted to strap your 450D with some super bit of telephoto glass it makes your camera look to much like a toy. i just wish it was more sized like the 50D but hey that the point of upgrading. just thought i should say it was eating me up inside having this evil 450D put down thought in my head i just had to release it.

I did because people were asking how what lenses I used so I listed the lens according to the number of the pic posted, ex. Rhino = 5. = 100-400L.

Edit: yeah, what ^ he said

As far as carrying it all, I have the canon backpack and it makes it VERY easy to carry with you all day. I also a had a 100mm macro thrown in there that I used to take the Lorikeet pic in my Flickr (didn't post because I'm not satisfied with the results...I think I'm going to make it a selective color type thing).

Slap on the battery grip and it looks huge. No need to upgrade... :)

I know what you mean, but have you tried picking up the canon battery grip? It certainly adds to the overall look of the camera (Not to mention makes taking portrait shots alot easier!)

Haha, I will admit, my camera looks ridiculous with the 100-400L + hood, 68mm of Kenko tubes, and 430ex on top...now I'm just waiting to make my macro flash bracket, then it'll look REALLY ridiculous!

I was looking at the 500mm prime thread last night, there is a picture in there of this lens next to a baby and the baby looks small....

I have to say I love the grip as well.
