thanks! full properties are viewable on the flickr page, but it looks like i was shooting on Tv, at 1/320 to freeze the motion, f4, iso 200. think i was focusing using AI servo (also some pp in photoshop)

shots with the new sigma 30mm. pics posted are resized. below each pic is a link to a larger but still far from full resolution shot. I'm very very impressed with how fast the AF is on this lens and how sharp it is. A lot of shots I took yesterday were nearly wide open (like the one of him laying on the ground with his toy).

so far very impressed.

And one from the garden, i bought a Tamron 70-300 LD Macro lens from Ebay the other day, thought I would try it out, it was windy so that affected the pic a bit.
