Man...I'm so close to a USAF base, I really need to make it out to a show. Thank you Charlie, I had a lot of fun taking them. Ever since I got my camera, it's one of the subjects I've looked forward to the most. I just got back from seeing them again so I'll be posting a few more here later on. Had better lighting today so I hope they turn out better. Chris

I'm about to order an Xsi...did you take these with the 10-22 lens? Thank you desertfire. The shot from Antelope Canyon was with my 17-55mm and the Grand Canyon shot was actually my 70-200mm if I remember correctly. I needed a little range to get the rock outcrop into the foreground. The 17-55mm was great in Antelope Canyon...the wide aperture and image stabilization helped me get way more shots than I thought I would. Almost everyone else was lugging tripods or monopods with them.

The water lillies were shot at a nearby lake in the same park. Luvsadog2

I came here a while ago... maybe back in Feb/March while I was waiting on Dell to send me my camera! I got it in, and I didn't take it out for a while. But I am starting my 365 day project w/ my husband on August 1st, as well with a lot of other ladies in another forum I am apart of. I just wanted to share an image for critique, and I also wanted to know about which program do you use for editing? LR 2.3 or Photoshop (full version or elements?) or both? Right now all I have is LR 2.3. I am still very unfamiliar with it, but I am thinking I need elements or the full version of PS to go a long with it. What are your thoughts?
