Dudes & Dudettes: Is there a way to configure the 450D to shoot in Sepia? I know there is monochrome.

I've tried to adjust the saturation, etc, but it has not worked with what I've tried. I know I can post process but would like to shoot in Sepia at certain times.

Thanks!

Canon's website has a page where you can download more picture styles and even customize styles. You can find it at http://web.canon.jp …g/picturestyle/index.html (external link).

I've never played with it myself, but it looks like it may be what you are looking for.

Thanks. I remember taking the shot very in the morning. No tourists and people walking around, good photo opportunity.

As Dustin can attest, we have been having some great early, early Fall weather here in this part of Louisiana. The little animals seem to be enjoying it as much as the humans. This little fellow must think it will be a cold winter the way he is eating!

OK, so here is a question, How many of you use the custom setting in your camera set up? And how much Sharpness, saturation ect do you use?

I shoot in RAW and adjust saturation, sharpness, levels, etc. in post processing with Photoshop. You can also do RAW processing with the free Canon software or the free GIMP program which I believe are better than the JPEG settings using picture styles.

I use all three. All use #5 for sharpness. #1 is landscape; contrast, saturation, colortone are set to 0.

#2 and 3 are monochrome. Contrast, filter, toning for #2 are 0, red, and none, respectively. For #3, the values are 0, red, and sepia.
