I don't know if this has been asked before, and if it has could you please direct me to the post?

Currently I'm using 2 580exII's for all my outdoor lighting. I'm very limited to a max of about f/8, which usually doesn't let me shoot at any time other than in the shade or when the sun is setting.

I have a few questions to ask. I will be using these outside and in the future for studio lighting.

1. What is the difference between say 2 AB800 flashes and a Vagabond II power pack compared to 2 Z2500 flashes and the Z1250 power pack?

2. As far as max power and recycle time how do they compare?

3. How many stops would I gain with the Zeus?

4. How do the battery packs compare?

5. What would my max aperture be with the Zeus flashes at full power?

5. Is the z1250 power pack enough for 2 Zeus flashes at full power?

6. I have 3 pocket wizards, do I just connect 1 pocket wizard to the battery and it will fire off the strobes? Or do i need to connect each pocket wizard to the strobes?

Thanks you guys!

And also here's something that i found, but my problem is that i have no idea what any of it means :(

I have tested the Ab800 can provide f18-22 from 6-7' with the standard 7" reflector. But with a umbrella or SB, the f stops drop down to f11-16, which is not enough to overpower the sun.

The B800 is 320 Ws, Z1250 has 2 stops more power, Z2500 has 3 stops more, so they will be lot better to be used with larger modifiers.

I don't know much about the Zeus other than reading their specs.
