Some Train images from this past weekend.

Hi everyone.
Sorry that I don't post as much as I use to. I have been just way too lazy anymore. Plus now that the Weather is getting way HOTer,I just stay indoors anymore. Anyways. This past Saturday I went to Omaha and did some Train Photography. What fun that was. All photos shot in RAW format.
Trains Photographed in Omaha,Nebraska.
Here is the BNSF 5633 east LIN-LIN Train rolling by Amtrak depot.

Here are three light units rolling back to 20th street to couple on to there Train.

GTW 6222 heads back for home Rails in Council Bluffs.

These set on photos are shot in Mo valley,Iowa,and one from Blair,Neb.
MCBSX UP 2219 north rolls across Canal street in Mo valley.

Westbound Stacker rolls through town.

Allan, just when I thought your colours couldn't look any weirder, you posted these. Have you calibrated your moniter lately?

Great composition! Who doesn't love images of trains! I do though agree with trainboy regarding the colors.

Rich colour? You REALLY need to get your monitor calibrated, those colours do not look natural whatsoever!

I have to agree. Did you apply any Fill Light processing to these?


FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
Classic Carz, Racing, Air Show, Flowers.

Interesting shots Alan, but the color is all over the place.

I agree, the colors are off. In some of them it looks like excessive "shadow/highlight" use.

Those BNSF engines and some of the UP seem like they're a bit blown out. Dial the exposure back a touch. I had a similar problem a while back and that helped during post-processing. Can I give a tweak of one or two a try?

How about these ones. I Photographed these at Willett this weekend. No Editing was done except for Sharpness.

Hmm, only the cloudy shot looks anything like normal. What are all your camera settings that are related to colour?
