STE2 # of flashes

I'm thinking about getting into a Radio Popper setup. Can the STE2 can only control two different groups? I normally use a three light setup. Is there anyway to have a background light with the STE2?

yes set the background light into manual mode while in slave and itll fire of the st-e2 youll just have to manually set the exposure
